Some of you who know me personally would be aware that I am actually a FTWM juggling 

work, family, blogging and hobby.

UrbanNook has been my hobby turned business which I don't wish to give up at this point. 

However, it is quite time consuming to be managing this blog space together with UrbanNook's Facebook page as well as my personal blog. 

Hence,  I will not be updating this space going forward, and will operate out of

Done for the year

I am finally done with all the orders including some remakes...with some little projects waiting to be completed in the new year.

I am extremely grateful that in just a short time of re-launching UrbanNook, we are able to do so much and send out lovely items to bring smiles to people.

So for the next week, we are taking a break, rejuvenating and spending some quality family time with the boy in the land of smiles! Yes! It's his first trip outta here... and I can't wait.

In the meantime, keep your orders coming. But.. I can only reply after 1 Jan.

UrbanNook is back.. Again!

After a 2 year hiatus, we am back! Hopefully to delight too!

Over the next few months, you will see a couple of changes to this space, and more importantly, we hope to bring you surprises along the way.

We hope you will notice that we have matured in our designs and offerings...and feel free to let us know what you would like to see more.

Here's something I did a year back for a friend's wedding. She wanted do make something special for all her bridesmaids, and wanted them to be able to have a unique hand corsage. So this is what I came up with.

Taking centrestage in this piece are the pineapple quartz facetted briolettes, prettified with swaroski pearls and crystals in 14k plated gold.

Pairs well with outfits of any pastel colour.

A customised weekend...

I have recently been getting orders to customise semi-precious stone  jewellery, with orders coming since pre-cny!

So.. spent a large amount of time yesterday trying to finish as many as possible.

Here's two of the pieces I am extremely happy with!

Made this for a customer who wanted a semi-precious stone bracelet...and by far... this is the creation I am most pleased with.

This customised piece is made with 14k coated gold findings, with Green Quartz faceted brioletts, cream rose swarovski pearls, round swarovski crystals and light topaz bicone crystals.

Remakes available. This piece costs S$48.00.

Customised  "Chandra" with emerald faceted teardrops for a colleague. This gives "Chandra" a whole new dimension..
